[Account Owner] eMoney

Important: Please note for firms using Single-Sign On(SSO):

  • SSO ONLY will not be able to integrate eMoney with their AdvicePay account. (This method cannot obtain the required AdvicePay Credentials through our site for eMoney.)
  • If SSO is OPEN (users can use SSO or login via AdvicePay) and can use the integration. That said, if the ability to directly login is unavailable with SSO (DDL enabled) the integration will not be available due to the need for the required AdvicePay Credentials through our site for eMoney

Getting Started Connecting eMoney with AdvicePay

To integrate eMoney with AdvicePay via SSO, start by logging into your eMoney account.

Next, head over to Integrations (along the top bar), and in the dropdown, click View all Integrations. This will display all possible integrations — click AdvicePay.

Once selected, you will be navigated to the integration partnership page with AdvicePay. It should look similar to the image below. After reviewing, click Turn On.

Once you click Turn On, the ability to connect will appear via a blue integration Connect button. Click on Connect to initiate the integration.

After review, click I Agree.

After clicking I Agree, a new window will appear. Enter your AdvicePay email and password, then click Sign in to your account. Then, click Allow Access to continue the connection.

You'll see a quick popup that the integration was successful and the new option to Launch Integration will appear in the left menu bar (as shown below).

How to Login to AdvicePay via SSO

Navigate to your Integrations drop-down menu and select AdvicePay to SSO into your AdvicePay account directly. Once selected, you will be navigated to a new window with your AdvicePay account.

Managing Clients in eMoney

Important: The option to manage clients will only be available after the integration with AdvicePay is completed.

Import Clients

To import a Client from AdvicePay, click Clients, click Manage Integration Clients, and select AdvicePay.

All of your existing clients in AdvicePay will now show in your eMoney account and display with a toggle option. When a new client is added in AdvicePay, it will automatically populate into your integrated eMoney account. If you don't see them, please refresh the page.

The toggle option (blue or white) represents if the client is linked between eMoney and your AdvicePay account. Blue means the client is linked, while white means the client is not linked yet.

To import a client, click on the toggle on and select Import as New Client.

Review and edit the Client’s information as needed. Click Import Client. Note that this will create a new Client profile in eMoney.

After importing the new client, the toggle will show blue indicating they are now connected.

Linking Clients

Important: The list of Clients in the search field are directly populated from AdvicePay. It will only include AdvicePay Clients that have not yet been linked to an eMoney Client.

Access AdvicePay Invoices in the eMoney Vault

Once a Client is linked to the AdvicePay integration, an AdvicePay folder will become available in the Client’s Vault. Once you are in the Client's account, click Vault, then choose the AdvicePay folder.

The AdvicePay folder has two sub-folders containing the Client’s AdvicePay Invoices and Agreements.

As invoices and agreements proceed through the various stages of completion, they will be updated in their appropriate folders.

Important: For clients utilizing subscriptions, note that each invoice will appear separately and not combined together within the Invoices subfolder.
