[Account Owner] How to Disable Advisor Ability to Create and Edit clients, and Delete Clients
By default, advisors with billing permissions in AdvicePay have the ability to create and edit clients and delete clients. If your firm needs more control over this (e.g. you may need to lock down client profiles in order to sync correctly with a CRM), you can do this!
Here's how:
1. Head to Firm Settings and select the Client tab:
2. Toggle either or both of the two settings, each is for the below respectively:
- Allow advisors to create clients
- Allow Advisors to edit clients
- Allow Advisors to delete clients
Account Owners and their Firm Admins will now be the only users able to create and delete clients in AdvicePay.
